    With the company’s origins dating back over a hundred years to 1907 by building 3rd rail transit products for use with the original New York City subway system, Selco Manufacturing Corp. remains at the forefront of supplying a wide variety of manufactured products to build and maintain the nation’s infrastructure. Today, Selco provides structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, machining, castings and assembly capability to the construction, rail transit, electrical, industrial and utility industries. Selco supplies products to contractors as well as their end users.

    Selco is well versed in structural and miscellaneous steel projects and is a certified AISC steel fabricator for building structures, bridges, overhead catenary systems, highways, heavy and light rail transit. Selco’s experienced steel fabricators cut, bend, drill, punch, weld and paint in our modern manufacturing plant located on 7 acres of land in West Caldwell, New Jersey. Our knowledgable employees regularly work in high strength and carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper alloys and fiberglass. Selco’s welders are AWS certified in carbon steel, stainless, hastelloy and aluminum. Selco regularly manufactures custom NEMA electrical enclosures, consoles, panels and custom cable tray for the electrical and rail transit industries.
    		  




    Selco also has extensive custom machining capability to match our fabrication skills. Many of the electrical items manufactured by Selco are listed by Underwriters Laboratories and are used for power distribution and control. Stinger systems, DC disconnect switches, snowmelters, wayside power, connectors, cable terminals, bus assemblies and other electrified transit products are all made to customer specifications. Selco machines and produces assemblies utilizing various grades of copper alloys, steel and iron castings.
