Layout/Fitter

Responsibilities Include:

  • Interpret fabrication drawings for layout, fitting, assembly, and welding of structural assemblies.
  • Measure and mark location and identification of holes, copes, hardware, and welds.
  • Fit parts and assemblies to the appropriate location within specified tolerances.

 

Welder

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing high quality welding using FCAW, GMAW and GTAW processes in accordance with fabrication drawings and specified welding procedures.
  • Use distortion control techniques to keep assemblies in tolerance after welding.
  • Perform oxy-fuel torch cutting of parts for assembly.
  • Assist layout and fitters with assembling structural assemblies.

 

Machine Operator

Responsibilities Include:

  • Efficient operation of production machines including computer-controlled equipment.
  • Read drawings and work instructions to properly locate material for processing.
  • Use overhead bridge cranes and other lifting devices to load and unload material on equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform quality control check of parts made by equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will learn to efficiently run our beamline drill, angle master, drill press, Ironworker, manual shear and saw.

 

Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Oversee outside expert technicians when required.
  • Keeping maintenance records up-to-date and organized.

 

Wiring Technician

Responsibilities Include:

  • Knowledge of and experience with NEC, OSHA, UL & ISA.
  • Wiring of industrial control panels, switches and power & control circuitry.
  • Oversee outside expert technicians when required.
  • Installation of Industrial instrumentation including AC and DC controls and switches.
  • Reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Industry standard wiring best practices.

 

Estimators Metal Fabrication

  • Estimator wanted for miscellaneous and structural steel fabrication. 5 to 10 years experience estimating steel projects. Must be able to review and analyze drawings and specifications.
